Who are we?
We are American citizens who question the official account of the events of 9/11/01, and the assignment of responsibility for those events to a convenient, well-defined group without proof. Our questions focus primarily on events in the public record, about which there is no shortage of verifiable evidence, that render elements of the official account highly suspect at best; or demonstrably impossible at worst.
We do not.
We specifically reject the conspiracy theory that says that 19 hijackers, under the direction of Al Qaeda and Osama Bin Laden, who were identified by the FBI within 48 hours of the attacks, 8 of whom have been shown to be alive after the attacks, took control of four U. S. Airliners without any signal from the air crew that anything untoward was happening, piloted those airliners to impact the twin towers of the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, crashing one in a Pennsylvania field, and met no resistance from any U. S. Military force. We also question the credibility of an explanation offered by the 9/11 Commission that says that incompetence enabled the success of the attacks, yet holds no person or organization accountable for the innumerable failures of that day, and instead sees several of them promoted to higher responsibility after the events.
We join thousands of other American Citizens in calling for an opening of the records, a release of the relevant video recordings, and the physical evidence, and the appointment and empowerment of a truly independent, impartial panel of investigators with full authority to determine the true accounting of the events of that day and the identification of those who perpetrated the events and those who supported them in carrying them out. We join the families of the victims who saw their questions shrugged off by the 9/11 Commission in demanding the answers they have been denied. We call upon the mainstream media to end the embargo of 9/11 stories and to perform their own research and join more than 80 percent of the American People who believe that the government has not been honest in dealing with the issues in demanding answers.
And finally, we join a world that wonders what has happened to the United States at the turn of the 21st century, when the beacon of freedom was transformed into an international bully with an aggressive foreign policy seemingly determined to undermine the concept of rule of law, cooperation between nations, and peaceful resolution of differences.
