I applaud a recent letter-writer’s call for proof of conspiracy theories. I would especially welcome some proof that nineteen suicide hijackers directed by Osama Bin Laden were the only conspirators. An FBI spokesman has asserted that the agency has "no hard evidence" linking Bin Laden to the attack. At least five of the alleged perpetrators, furthermore, have turned up alive. In fact, the Director of the FBI told CNN that there was "no legal proof to prove the identities of the suicidal hijackers." In 2006, finally, the FBI reported that none of the passengers used a cell phone to call a relative.

The only "proof" has been that the government says so, the same government that fabricated stories – about WMD’s, Al Quaeda links to Iraq, etc. – 935 times, according to the Center for Public Integrity.
Meanwhile, a host of architects, engineers, and other experts have raised serious questions about the official conspiracy theory. These may be found at places like www.ae911truth.org, pilotsfor911truth.org, www.scholarsfor911truth.org, and scientistsfor911truth.org. The omissions and contradictions of the government conspiracy theory can also be found in any of the books of David Ray Griffin. Their evidence is impressive if not conclusive. They show at least that a new, genuinely impartial investigation is needed.
The writer mentioned above also called for not printing letters from those who question the official conspiracy theory. But the evidence also shows that a gag order on skeptics is the last thing we need. You won’t find the truth by silencing those who seek it.
On September 11, 2001, seismic stations monitored by the Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory at Columbia University detected seismic signals from the World Trade Center site 14 seconds and 17 seconds before the airplane impacts upon the Twin Towers. Such seismic spikes could therefore not have resulted from the impacts themselves. These crashes occurred, moreover, high above the earth, and their energy was absorbed by the massive buildings below. So they did not create seismic signals in any case. There has been no official explanation of this seismic activity.

Also unexplained is the extensive damage to the first few floors of WTC 1. Some have speculated that fire traveled down elevator shafts and somehow caused this enormous destruction, citing the doors blown off a first floor elevator. That particular elevator, however, went only to the 34th floor. Thus it could not have served as a conduit for fire or anything else originating at the impact zone.
A simpler explanation of both the seismic data and the lower-floor and basement damage can be found in the testimony of more than thirty eyewitnesses who reported very severe explosions in the building sub-basements before the airplane’s impact, resulting in severe injuries to personnel working underground at the time.
These facts suggest once more controlled demolition by pre-planted explosives and were entirely ignored by the 9/11 Committee. The best way to avoid inconvenient answers is to ask no questions.

George Benton is to be thanked for his recent analysis of the collapse of the World Trade Center. He did not do complete justice, however, to the especially mysterious fate of Building 7. The BBC, for instance, was somehow able to broadcast news of Building 7's collapse at least ten minutes before it happened. How did they know?
- Like WTC 1 and 2, Building 7 disintegrated instantaneously and fell straight down at free fall velocity, a defiance of the laws of physics even more remarkable because, unlike the twin towers, it was not struck by an airplane, sustaining only relatively minor damage to the facade from the flying debris of Building 1, a hundred yards away.
Another difference is that the bottom floor of WTC 7 went out first, and then the center of the building "crimped," allowing the structure to collapse inward, even more similar to a conventional controlled demolition than WTC 1 and 2. The collapse can be viewed by going to YouTube or Google Video and searching for WTC 7.
The National Institute of Statistics and Technology has asserted that the building was fatally weakened by fire, but no steel-framed building in history has ever collapsed because of fire, even though many have sustained much more intense and widespread fire than the WTC.
The building’s owner, finally, Larry A. Silverstein, said in a PBS interview that the "fire commandant" told him late in the afternoon that it might be impossible to contain the fire. This is especially curious, since FEMA reported that firefighting attempts had ended hours earlier. Nonetheless, Silverstein thought it best to "pull it" and the fire commandant gave the order that it be pulled. "And then we watched the building collapse," says Silverstein. On other video, demolition professionals can be heard using the word "pull" to mean destroy. In any case, the collapse was very profitable for Silverstein, who won a $7 billion insurance payout for his losses.
Still other mysteries remain. But the greatest mystery is this: the 9/11 Commission fails even to mention Building 7 anywhere in its report. That report is therefore incomplete, to put it very charitably. Clearly we need another investigation. We do not need to assume some complex, high-level conspiracy to know that there are many, many unanswered questions.
Across the country, the 9/11 truth movement is growing rapidly as people are realizing there is much more to what happened on Sept. 11 than what they were told.

Across the country, the 9/11 truth movement is growing rapidly as people are realizing there is much more to what happened on Sept. 11 than what they were told.
Attempts to discredit the 9/11 truth movement are common. One logical approach of many to counteract them consists of the following questions:
· Do you believe burning jet fuel caused the twin towers to collapse because that is what your government told you?
· If the government told you the twin towers collapsed due to controlled demolition, would you believe that?
· Would you then agree that your opinion on the twin towers collapse is based on your belief in the government?
· How does the same-day collapse of the 47-story steel beam constructed Building 7, which was not affected by burning jet fuel, factor into your government-formed belief that jet fuel caused the twin towers to collapse?
· The BBC at 5 PM, with Building 7 shown in the background, stated that it had collapsed. Building 7 collapsed at 5:20 PM. How do you account for that?
In 1933, the burning of the Reichstag, orchestrated by Hermann Goering, resulted in Adolph Hitler instituting a police state in Germany, which eventually resulted in World War II.
After 9/11 the Patriot Act was enacted, establishing the Department of Homeland Security, stripping us of our constitutional liberties and creating a police state.
As a result of 9/11, we have wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, with more than 4000 Americans dead and 1 million innocent civilians dead.
Many questions have arisen about the government’s version and the 9/11 Commission’s version concerning the collapse of the World Trade Center Buildings in New York City.

Many questions have arisen about the government’s version and the 9/11
Commission’s version concerning the collapse of the World Trade Center
Buildings in New York City.
One question is the result of the saga of William Rodriguez, custodian of
the North Tower. He became a hero for rescuing many people before the
building collapsed. Like many eyewitnesses, he heard and felt explosions
in the basement before the plane hit and several explosions afterward.
He was interviewed by the media about his experiences, but there was no
mention of his name or the many explosions he witnessed. Angry and
frustrated, he became an organizer and activist for 9/11 victims and their
families and was largely responsible along with other persons for forcing
the White House to establish the 9/11 Commission with subpoena power
which they never used.
He asked to testify before the Commission and was repeatedly told he
could not, but was finally allowed to – behind closed doors.
When the commission report came out there was absolutely no reference
to his name or to his eyewitness testimony.
In conjunction with this, NYC auxiliary fireman Lt. Paul Isaac stated on
Sept. 11, 2005, that 9/11 was an inside job. An FBI gag order was placed
on NYC firemen and police officers, preventing them from discussing
what they witnessed.
Don’t the American people and the 9/11 victims and families have the
right to know what happened that fateful day?
A highly respected professional magazine, Fire Engineering, the 125-yearold journal of record among America’s fire engineering and firefighting professionals, called FEMA’s investigation of the collapsed World Trade Center twin towers “a half-baked farce.”

A highly respected professional magazine, Fire Engineering, the 125-year old
journal of record among America’s fire engineering and firefighting
professionals, called FEMA’s investigation of the collapsed World Trade
Center twin towers “a half-baked farce.”
The magazine publishes technical studies of major fires and is read in
more than 50,000 fire departments and fire engineering schools in
America.
Editor William Manning, after visiting the site shortly after the incident,
has challenged the theory that the resultant fires from the jet crashes into
the buildings caused the collapse of the twin towers.
He called for the cessation of the removal and destruction of evidence
from the crime scene, which is in itself a crime, after seeing steel from the
twin towers cut up and sold for scrap before investigators could
determine the cause of the collapse.
In a separate editorial, “World Trade Center Investigation: A Call to
Action,” the magazine’s technical editor, Professor Glenn Corbett, and
two other expert fire engineers said the World Trade Center disaster
demands the most comprehensive and detailed investigation possible.
This was not done, according to Manning, who said during a three-day
walk-through, no one checked the evidence for anything. “It was a tourist
trip,” according to one source.
Engineers complained that they were hampered by bureaucratic
restrictions and threatened with dismissal for speaking to the press.
The magazine has reason to believe the investigation may have been commandeered by political forces whose interests were not for full
disclosure.
Isn’t a full, detailed investigation needed?
With respect to letters to the editor from Bill Russell, Michael McDermott, and Fred Thomas, it appears these individuals are not investigating the facts about the 9/11 cover-up, but are simply attacking others who have written about the 9/11 fraud.

and Fred Thomas, it appears these individuals are not investigating the
facts about the 9/11 cover-up, but are simply attacking others who have
written about the 9/11 fraud.
Since when should advocacy of the truth be construed as hatred or “Bush
Derangement Syndrome”? There is also the First Amendment of the
Constitution, which defines free speech. The fine article by Erick Sahler,
managing editor of the Daily Times, certainly reinforces this.
It is appropriate to question the validity of the Popular Mechanics article
concerning 9/11, since principal research for their first article was done by
the cousin of Director of Homeland Security Michael Chertoff, who has to
be considered a suspect in the cover-up, at least.
Those of us who have studied the many unexplained aspects and
unanswered questions arising from the 9/11 tragedy believe the
government-supplied explanation falls far short of a satisfactory
accounting. The events of 9/11 have provided the administration with a
seemingly endless reservoir of excuses for all manner of violence done to
other countries, as well as to our constitutional rights and our shared
morality.
Serious doubts have arisen concerning the government’s version that the World Trade Center buildings collapsed due to fires caused by jet fuel, which is kerosene.

Serious doubts have arisen concerning the government’s version that the
World Trade Center buildings collapsed due to fires caused by jet fuel,
which is kerosene.
Kerosene burns at the maximum of 1,000 degrees under perfect
conditions. After the initial fireball resulting from the plane hits, there
was mostly smoke, which indicates incomplete combustion, as in an
oxygen-starved wood fire.
Steel does not melt until it reaches 2, 750 degrees. Kerosene heaters don’t
melt steel. The World Trade Center buildings burned approximately 60-
plus minutes before collapsing, yet the following buildings endured
sustained fires, never collapsing:
· World Trade Center, New York, 1975, burned three hours
· SRFM Building, Montreal, 1986, burned 13 hours
· 1st Interstate Bank, Los Angeles, 1988, burned three and a half hours
· Meridian Plaza, Philadelphia, burned 19 hours
· Park Center, Caracas, Venezuela, 2004, burned 24 hours
· Windsor Motel, Madrid, 2005, burned 20 hours
Richard Siegal, Blue Star Media Group, photographing from the Jersey
shore, witnessed white smoke at the base of the building, and his cameras
recorded multiple explosions at intervals.
Steven Jones, physics professor, states that Thermite, which burns at 4,500
degrees, emits white smoke as a byproduct. Molten steel was found
weeks later in the basement.
Messrs Loizeaux of Controlled Demolitions, stated that when buildings
are blown, explosives are placed at an angle to cut the steel beams. Steel
beams at the World Trade Center showed this.
Many witnesses stated they heard and felt explosions before and after the
hit.
Questions anyone?
